For anyone avoiding dairy but still looking for a milk that contributes meaningful protein, soy is usually a better bet than almond or rice milk. Almond milk may have a healthy reputation, but it is not a particularly impressive source of protein. That does not make it a bad choice. It simply means it should not be relied upon as a major protein source. If protein is your priority, soy milk is generally a much stronger plant-based option.
