The track leads her upcoming sophomore EP, Chapter 2 , set to release on August 28. International singer-songwriter Celina Sharma has teamed up with Indian music icon Sonu Nigam for ‘ Centre of Peace ’ , a genre-crossing duet that marks one of the most personal releases of her career.
At 24, Sharma has already built a global following, with more than 200 million streams, viral TikTok success and a songwriting credit with Marvel Studios. Chapter 2 is expected to mark a new phase in her musical journey. Now, ahead of turning 25, she is entering her next chapter with a landmark collaboration with one of India’s most recognisable voices.
Her collaboration with Nigam is particularly significant as she grew up listening to his music. The song explores a more vulnerable side of Sharma’s songwriting and reflects the diverse influences that shape her sound, drawing from her Indian, Italian, Maltese and Australian-British roots. Sharma’s rise has been equally unconventional.
