South Africa wrapped up their ODI series against Namibia in emphatic fashion on Sunday, cruising to a nine-wicket win in the third match to complete a 3-0 clean sweep. Bjorn Fortuin set up the victory with a four-wicket haul before Jordan Hermann and Connor Esterhuizen powered through the chase with an explosive 150-run opening stand. Fortuin broke the partnership in the 21st over by dismissing Steenkamp for 23. Namibia suffered another setback in the same over when Volschenk was run out for 31. The spinner continued to run through the middle order, dismissing Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton (4) and Waldo Smith (2) to finish with impressive figures of 4/33 from 10 overs. The victory completed a comprehensive 3-0 ODI series win for South Africa. They had begun the series with a 99-run DLS victory in the opening ODI before producing an even bigger margin of victory in the second match, winning by 157 runs.
Fortuin then struck again in his following over, removing Namibia captain Gerhard Erasmus for just three runs.
