Her third pregnancy in 2018 brought repeated hospital stays, severe sickness and exhaustion while she was preparing to welcome another child with Stephen Curry. By 2024, Ayesha was expecting her fourth child and looking back at those earlier pregnancies with a different perspective. In February 2018, she explained that she was dealing with hyperemesis gravidarum, a severe pregnancy condition that can cause prolonged nausea, vomiting and exhaustion. 2018 blog post, she wrote, “For the past 4 months, I’ve barely been able to eat let alone cook. On April 6, 2018, Ayesha revealed that she had already spent five hospital stays since the beginning of the year. Giving an update on Instagram, she wrote, “I’ve had 5 hospital stays since the New Year and have pretty much been sucking at life. Yet Ayesha kept moving forward and eventually welcomed her son Canon on July 2, 2018. On October 5, 2018, Ayesha underwent surgery to remove her thyroid and a cyst. When she became pregnant with her fourth child in 2024, she approached motherhood with a much different mindset. In an interview published on March 1, 2024, Ayesha admitted, “I was really stubborn in my earlier pregnancies. And that’s okay,” Ayesha said in 2024.
She admitted that the situation had put her “in a funk” and added, “I am truly very, very sad.
