LeBron James and Savannah James' foundation makes a heartwarming update as iPromise School begins

Founded in 2018, LeBron James’ foundation’s education wing IPromise School has served thousands of students across the NBA legend’s hometown, Akron. In many of his interviews, the 41 year old NBA icon LeBron James has often spoken and emphasised the importance of education among children and how it should always be prioritised. It’s a moment I’ll never forget, and hopefully the kids, starting with the 240 kids that we have going in here right now starting today, will never forget it, either. ”

A few years ago, in an interview with ESPN, LeBron James had opened up about launching iPromise School as he said, “I do mean it. LeBron James , the former Los Angeles Lakers star player, has always been focused on giving back to the society even as he has achieved immense success in his career. The four time NBA champion and his wife, Savannah James, remain dedicated to the LeBron James’ Family Foundation and their education wing, the iPromise School. Ahead of the new season, the iPromise School has made a heartwarming update. I can sit here and be at a loss for words, which I am now. This is my first time here, walking these hallways and seeing, when I was driving here, just the streets that I walked, some of the stores are still up when I was growing up.
