The Eagles beat the Chiefs 40-22 in Super Bowl LIX.
Brittany had shared her disappointment when the birds disappeared, writing, “But sadly they are gone 😞,” she wrote in an Instagram Story in August. Patrick Mahomes’ backyard has once again become an unexpected stop for a pair of feathered visitors, and Brittany Mahomes is far less amused this time around. The Kansas City Chiefs star’s wife recently welcomed the sight of eagles disappearing from the property, only to find them back and leaving behind another round of damage. Her latest Instagram update sums up her mood in just a few words. Brittany Mahomes has been documenting the unusual wildlife encounters around the family’s home for months. What started as an interesting sight quickly became a source of frustration after the birds began making themselves comfortable around the property. Her latest update showed that the eagles are back. Brittany did not hide her feelings about the development, writing on her Instagram Story, “The Eagle clean-up crew… I hate it. The reaction makes sense given what happened during the birds’ previous stay. The eagles had reportedly become regular visitors around the backyard, which includes a private sports field. Their presence was not limited to simply flying overhead. They were also seen around the playing area, turning an otherwise peaceful outdoor space into an unexpected wildlife zone. At one point, one of the birds was even spotted near a football, creating a rather unusual sight at the home of one of the NFL’s biggest stars. The situation appeared to have ended in August. “Think they raised their babies and now their off, they come back for mating season maybe idk. There is also a funny NFL angle to the story. The birds have repeatedly chosen the home of Patrick Mahomes, a quarterback who has developed plenty of history with the Philadelphia Eagles. Their most memorable meetings came on the Super Bowl stage. Two seasons later, Philadelphia answered in emphatic fashion. That rivalry gives Brittany’s backyard problem an amusing football connection, even if she likely sees little humor in cleaning up after the birds. For now, the eagles appear to have reclaimed their spot around the Mahomes property. Brittany may have once been curious about their presence, but after seeing the damage they can cause, their latest comeback is clearly not the welcome-home moment she wanted. Their return now makes her earlier theory seem possible, although the birds’ exact reason for returning to the property remains unclear.
