Amid the brutal loss in Week 7, Patrick Mahomes has reflected on the late game false start penalty on right tackle Jaylon Moore. For the unversed, with 4 seconds left in the game and the Kansas City Chiefs trailing the Denver Broncos 28-24, Patrick Mahomes threw what looked like a game winning touchdown pass to wide receiver Rashee Rice.
A few hours ago, as the Kansas City Chiefs’ popular quarterback Patrick Mahomes spoke to reporters after the loss against the Denver Broncos, he said, “I have not seen it, but like it didn’t surprise me or catch me or anything like that, so it couldn’t have been big, but it was called…” The three time Super Bowl Most Valuable Player added, “I mean, at the end of the day, you have to go with whatever is called, but a lot of times in those big moments the little stuff doesn’t get called like that. The Kansas City Chiefs’ head coach Andy Reid also reacted to the controversial call at the game against the Denver Broncos as he said, “I didn’t see it,…I saw him move his head, but I didn’t see [a false start]. Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany Mahomes also reacted to it as she took to her social media to make a post that read as, “You can’t tell me you call that on a game-winning TD, oh wait yeah I can ’cause it’s us.”
Patrick Mahomes , the Kansas City Chiefs’ star player, started the new season strong with an impressive run on the field. But the team has now recorded two consecutive losses against the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos. On the very next play, Patrick Mahomes was sacked, ending the game as it marked the Kansas City Chiefs’ second consecutive loss in the new season after losing to the Seattle Seahawks last weekend.
