Mahomes made the comments on May 2, and he was specific about what Brittany does.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback called Brittany a “Hall of Fame mom and a Hall of Fame wife” during a May 2024 appearance on Logan Paul’s podcast, Impaulsive. He said fans “don’t even realize how much she does. She takes care of the “day-to-day stuff,” he said, so he can “focus on my craft. Coming home to his best friend, he said, makes him want to be there all the time. “She pushes me to be great,” Mahomes said, and he pointed out that Brittany has built her own résumé too. She is a co-owner of the Current, a women’s soccer club in Kansas City, and he said she has done “a lot of great things herself.”

Brittany, who co-owns the Kansas City Current and played professional soccer, handles the day-to-day running of their home, he explained. That frees him to put his energy into football. She later shared his comments on Instagram Stories, with a photo of the two of them together. For a family with two young children and a quarterback’s schedule, that covers a lot of ground. He did not stop at logistics. He also credited her drive.

Brittany has said that is the hardest part of being married to an NFL player: how much he is gone during the season. Asked about the past few days, he said, “Brittany’s doing everything so I’m just trying to be supportive. She told the same show, “I was not prepared for this. Online criticism followed her too, including after her 2024 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit debut, and in February she called her husband the “most amazing supportive husband” on Instagram.
Football season asks a lot of a family. Practice, film sessions and road trips pull Mahomes away for long stretches. He added that she “crushed it. Brittany has been open about the other side of that fame.
Brittany had given birth to the couple’s third child, a girl named Golden Raye, days earlier, and Mahomes faced reporters before the Chiefs’ playoff game against the Houston Texans.
