During a March 2024 interview with Robin Roberts, she acknowledged that raising children across two households brings its own challenges.
The pair largely communicate when their children are involved, according to insiders cited by Us Weekly . The same insider said, “The dust has settled, but he tries not to meddle in her personal life. They know what they can get away with,” she said. “So I think it’s natural that [our houses] have different rules and then kids just adapt,” she continued. “Tom has to have time with them, and I have time with them, which I think is amazing because they get to really experience more enrichment for their lives,” Bündchen added.
Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen may have moved far beyond their marriage, but raising their children keeps a lasting connection between them. The former couple now appears to have settled into a more practical arrangement, with their separate lives taking very different paths. Their relationship is no longer about staying together. Instead, the focus has shifted to giving Benjamin and Vivian stability while both parents build lives on their own terms. The end of a high-profile marriage rarely comes with a clean emotional break, especially when children remain at the center of the family. Brady and Bündchen seem to have learned that distance can sometimes make co-parenting easier. One source described their current arrangement simply: “Tom and Gisele only communicate when it comes to the kids. He hears things from the kids here and there, but tries to stay neutral. They have a good coparenting schedule. That approach reflects a significant change from the intense public attention surrounding their divorce. Neither appears eager to comment on the other’s personal choices, allowing the children to move between two very different environments. Bündchen has increasingly embraced a quieter lifestyle, while Brady remains closely tied to the sports and entertainment world. Their priorities may look different, but their parenting responsibilities give them common ground. Another source acknowledged the emotional weight of their split, saying, “Tom and Gisele shared some mutual friends from the time they were married, but she doesn’t really socialize with them anymore. Her life has really changed. They share children and will always have that connection, but the divorce was not easy for either of them. “I think there are easier days than others but I think it’s amazing that the kids…they’re super smart children. “And they’re going to try to do what they want. And I can only control what I do. And I think for me, now is really about the balance. Instead, she sees value in allowing her children to experience both parents’ approaches to life. “Two different worlds and they get to learn from two different worlds and that’s wonderful for them I think. They’re so big. For Brady and Bündchen, that may ultimately be the most important measure of their post-divorce relationship. Their lives no longer need to look alike. Their children simply need both parents to remain present, supportive and willing to put their needs first. Get the latest Sports News and Live updates. Download the TOI app.
