Travis Kelce ’s $5.35 million Ohio home purchase has added an intriguing detail to the next chapter of his life with Taylor Swift . Travis Kelce closed on the Ohio mansion on March 2, according to reports from TMZ and The Wall Street Journal. The 3.5-acre property sits along Lake Erie in Bratenahl, a village located only a short distance from Cleveland Heights, where Kelce grew up. Kelce has not said whether 2026 will be his final NFL season, although speculation about retirement has followed him into the new campaign.

Because they were not yet certain where they wanted to settle, in August 2025, a source told Us Weekly that Kelce and Swift were exploring their options.

“We’re thrilled for the new owners and so excited for Cleveland,” The Agency Cleveland said in a statement shared with The Wall Street Journal. She crushed it and actually really fit into that Tommy aesthetic, too,” Kelce said. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end bought the sprawling lakefront property in March, just months before he and Swift celebrated their wedding at Madison Square Garden. Located near Kelce’s hometown of Cleveland Heights, the estate gives the NFL star a major property in familiar surroundings. The timing of the purchase has also fueled plenty of interest in where Kelce and Swift could eventually build their long-term home, especially as the veteran tight end enters another NFL season. One of the home’s most unusual features is its former ballroom. The space has been converted into a game room and home theater, while the lower level includes a billiards room, poker area, bar, wine cellar and tasting room. A fitness center and sauna add even more to the estate. “We figured, why not her? “Those are some of my favorite shots.
