The September 21 edition of Monday Night RAW took place in San Antonio, Texas. It featured a shocking development: Solo Sikoa was abducted by foes he didn’t know he had. Apart from that, Stephanie Vaquer offered to defend her Women’s title against both Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan, and two more Money in the Bank ladder match qualifiers also took place as the road to WWE ‘s next Premium Live Event continues to heat up. Penta opened the show and reflected on his World title match against Roman Reigns last week on RAW, claiming that it was not over between them, and he wanted another opportunity. Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh came out to berate him, leading to an altercation and Penta sending both of them packing. This was the Women’s Money in the Bank qualifying match. The fast-paced triple threat match was an exciting bout to witness. In the end, IYO Sky delivered a moonsault, but only hit La Catalina, as Roxanne Perez moved out of the way. She got up and hit the Pop Rox to win and secure a spot in the MITB ladder match. This was a singles match where the captivating Je’Von Evans held his own against the dominant Bron Breakker. He came close to victory when he went for the OG Cutter, but Theory tripped him on the ropes, leading to a DQ finish. Evans was beaten down by Breakker and The Vision until Oba Femi arrived to come to his aid. They tossed him into the back of a car and drove off, as the Bloodline members tried to stop them. This led Adam Pearce to replace him in the match with Penta. He went toe-to-toe with Dragon Lee and Dominik Mysterio in the Money in the Bank qualifying match. The enthralling bout ended when Penta sent Dominik into the exposed turnbuckle and hit the Mexican Destroyer to win the match.
Before the match, the camera showed Royce Keys and OTM dragging a beaten Solo Sikoa backstage.
