PlayStation release calendar extends beyond August
2, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, Star Wars Zero Company, and Madden NFL 27. September is scheduled to bring releases including The Blood of Dawnwalker, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Marvel’s Wolverine, Dune: Awakening, Control Resonant, Silent Hill: Townfall, and EA Sports FC 27. Sony has revealed its PlayStation August launch lineup, confirming a packed release schedule that includes titles such as Mortal Shell II, Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. Sony’s announcement comes as PlayStation’s release calendar continues into September and October with several previously announced games.
The company shared the lineup through its official “This Month on PlayStation” announcement on microblogging site X, outlining games arriving throughout August for PlayStation players.
August Game Releases Confirmed for PlayStation
Sony has confirmed that ‘Beast of Reincarnation’ and ‘Big Walk’ are now available. ‘Big Walk’ is particularly notable as it launches as a day-one title for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
The release schedule for August also includes a variety of titles spanning action RPG, fighting, sports, survival, tactical strategy, and co-operative genres. Several of these games are set to arrive in the final week of the month, further expanding the PlayStation library.
‘Beast of Reincarnation’ is developed by Game Freak and marks the start of Sony’s August gaming lineup.
