The suspension order, dated Nov 5, 2026, said the leadership had taken serious note of their absence and placed them under suspension with immediate effect until further orders. Haveri : The Indian Youth Congress (IYC) has suspended six Karnataka Pradesh Youth Congress Committee (KPYCC) office-bearers, including Haveri district president Darshan Kumar Lamani, over their alleged absence from party programmes held in Delhi. Darshan Kumar Lamani, son of sugar, textiles and Haveri district minister Rudrappa Lamani, was serving as Haveri district Youth Congress president. Those suspended also include KPYCC state secretaries Abdul Aziz, Suraj Awati, Pavan Saliyan and Abhishek C, along with Uttara Kannada District Youth Congress president Subrahmanya Sirsikar. The order was issued by KPYCC president Manjunath H S and IYC national secretaries and KPYCC co-in-charges Tariq Bagwan and Srinivas Rathod.
