Chennai: Defense and aerospace electronics systems provider Data Patterns’ profit after tax for the second quarter declined 55% to Rs 21.97 crore against Rs 49.19 crore in the corresponding period last financial year.
The company’s total income for the quarter was Rs 141.44 crore, against Rs 313 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last financial year. With several programs progressing and deliveries expected to pick up, second half of the 2027 fiscal is expected to be stronger than first half, it said.
The company said quarter’s performance was more muted due exceptionally strong execution in second quarter of FY26. Srinivasagopalan Rangarajan, chairperson and managing director of Data Patterns, said the business momentum and order inflow during H1FY27 has been encouraging. The company expressed confidence on business outlook from a strong order pipeline and continued progress in execution, adding that they remain on track to achieve full-year targets and that FY27 guidance remains unchanged.
