Nashik: A segment of the Nagpur-Mumbai Samruddhi Expressway will be closed for one hour on Thursday afternoon. This closure is necessary for safety testing within the Igatpuri tunnel, ensuring the infrastructure meets safety standards. Motorists are advised to plan their travel accordingly to avoid delays during this period.

The tunnel lane carrying traffic from Nagpur towards Mumbai will be shut from noon to 1 pm for controlled fire and performance testing of the modular fire suppression demo unit installed inside the tunnel, according to highway police.
