MSI introduces RTX Spark-powered Prestige N16 Flip AI+ at Computex: The wider industry impact

MSI showed off its first laptop powered by NVIDIA’s new RTX Spark platform at Computex 2026, the Prestige N16 Flip AI+, alongside a refreshed Katana gaming series that pulls current-gen RTX 50 silicon into the mainstream price band. The announcements anchor the company’s 40th anniversary lineup, which spans creator laptops, gaming notebooks, and a refreshed handheld.

MSI Unveils Versatile New Devices and Limited-Edition Models

MSI has introduced a range of new devices, showcasing versatility and performance. The Prestige N16 Flip AI+ features a flip hinge, allowing transitions between laptop, tablet, tent, and presentation modes. It is complemented by the MSI Nano Pen for sketching and note-taking, supported by a 99.9Wh battery designed for all-day use. James Sung, NB Sales Director at MSI India, described this lineup as the company’s strongest yet, emphasizing its role in MSI’s AI-driven computing strategy.

The Katana series receives a significant update with the Katana 15 HX C14W, equipped with an Intel Core i9 processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU. This model supports DDR5 memory up to 96GB and features a 15.6-inch FHD display, making it a strong contender in the gaming market.

Celebrating its 40th anniversary, MSI also launched the Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition Draco Epic, a limited-edition model inspired by the Draco constellation. This high-end device includes a Core Ultra 9 chip, an RTX 5090 GPU, 128GB of DDR5 memory, and an 18-inch UHD+ display. Buyers will receive a collector’s bundle that includes a gaming mouse, mouse pad, and commemorative coin.

Additionally, MSI introduced the Claw 8 EX AI+, the first handheld device powered by Intel’s Arc G3 Extreme chip, specifically designed for handheld gaming. It features an 8-inch FHD+ screen, 32GB of LPDDR5x memory, and an Arc B390 GPU, targeting AAA gaming while optimizing battery life for portability.
