Mumbai University has issued a list of 11,000 students who are yet to be linked

Mumbai: After withholding the results of students who did not have an APAAR ID—a 12-digit student identification number—for two years, Mumbai University ( MU ) has this year made it a mandatory requirement for generation of exam hall tickets.

Students Must Complete Linking Process Ahead of Exams

The university administration has released a list of 11,000 students who have not yet completed the required linking process, despite multiple outreach efforts at colleges. This list has been distributed to the respective institutions. In response, the university has instructed college principals, directors, and department heads to ensure that all students finalize their linking before they submit their examination forms.

Under the National Education Policy, students are required to obtain an Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR ID) and register with the Academic Bank of Credits. These measures are essential for the digital storage of marksheets and for the transfer and verification of academic credits.
