LUCKNOW: Ahead of the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced the schedule for the special summary revision of electoral rolls across all Assembly constituencies in the state, with the final voter list scheduled for publication on January 4, 2027. Chief electoral officer (CEO) Navdeep Rinwa on Thursday said the revision would be conducted with January 1, 2027, as the qualifying date for determining voter eligibility. Rationalisation and reorganisation of polling stations will be completed by November 2, 2026, while the draft electoral rolls will be published on November 12, according to the schedule.
Rinwa said meetings with recognised political parties would be organised at both state and district levels to explain the Election Commission’s guidelines and revision procedures.
