Abduction
Ahmedabad : A 36-year-old businessman from Zundal has filed a police complaint alleging that his former employer, the employer’s son and two unidentified men forcibly entered his house, assaulted him, abducted him and threatened to kill him if he approached the police.
The complainant previously worked in the digital marketing and sales division of a company, according to the complaint lodged with Adalaj police. The accused stopped an autorickshaw at around 10pm and forced him to board it, according to the complaint. Around a year ago, he left the job and started his own trading business, operating a godown in the Chiloda area. The driver later dropped him near his residence, where his brother-in-law found him and took him to the police station. The businessman alleged that the accused threatened to kill him if he lodged a police complaint, which initially discouraged him from approaching the authorities. He later sought treatment for his injuries at Sola Civil Hospital before filing the complaint. Adalaj police have registered a case under relevant sections of the BNS.
