Chennai: Sundaram Home Finance plans to double its assets under management (AUM) in Tamil Nadu ’s Emerging Business (EB) segment to around Rs 1,300 crore by the end of this fiscal, from over Rs 650 crore in FY26.
Sundaram Home Finance, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sundaram Finance, entered the EB segment in October 2022 with a branch in Madurai. We plan to further strengthen our presence in TN by expanding our branch network into more Tier 3 and 4 towns and to grow this business faster in the coming years,” said D Lakshminarayanan, MD, Sundaram Home Finance. “We believe the small towns in TN offer good growth opportunities in the affordable housing segment and expect this market to pick up pace in the medium to long term.
