The emergence of CCTV footage has added a fresh dimension to the case

New Delhi: National Green Tribunal (NGT) has ordered a fresh joint inspection of 36 alleged unauthorised industrial units in east Delhi ’s Gamri village, directing authorities to revisit premises that were found locked during earlier inspections.

Previous inspections conducted by officials of the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC), Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), BSES and Delhi Police could not ascertain the nature of activities at some premises as they were found locked.
