Warangal : NIT Warangal concluded its two-day 24th Convocation on Sunday, conferring degrees on 1,997 undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD students. On the second day, director Bidyadhar Subudhi conferred degrees on 945 postgraduate and 100 PhD students in engineering, sciences and management. Adepu Anjali received Director’s Gold Medal as overall postgraduate topper in engineering, while Jalumedi Bharani received the medal as overall postgraduate topper in sciences and management. Apurba Borah of Department of Chemistry received Best PhD Thesis Award for research on transition metal-based electrocatalysts for water electrolysis and fuel cell applications.
