HYDERABAD: The Telangana high court has directed the Warangal police to seek a fresh expert medical opinion from the head of the forensic medicine department at Osmania General Hospital, Hyderabad, to determine the cause of death of Lyadella Raju, a Dalit daily wager. His wife, Priyanka, an anganwadi teacher, alleged Raju was murdered and his body dumped near a pond in the town. Priyanka’s counsel B Balraju challenged the closure of the case by the police, based on forensic experts at Kakatiya Medical College attributing the death to a cardiac arrest.
