Hubballi : The North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) will operate 312 additional bus services to facilitate travel during the Ganesh Chaturthi festival.
The corporation said that with Sept 12 falling on a Saturday, Sept 13 on a Sunday and Ganesh Chaturthi being celebrated on Sept 14, passenger demand is expected to surge. Special bus services have been arranged from Sept 11 to 13 to help passengers reach their hometowns conveniently. After the festival, additional services will also be operated on Sept 14 and the following days, depending on passenger demand.
Stay updated with the latest Hubballi news. In a press release, NWKRTC stated that a large number of people are expected to travel to their hometowns for the festival. The special services will be operated from the Hubballi, Dharwad, Gadag, Belagavi, Uttara Kannada, Haveri, Chikodi and Bagalkot divisions. To cater to the rush, additional services will be operated from Bengaluru and other major cities to various destinations across Karnataka and neighbouring states.
