After the gym trainer was found dead on the night of Jan 29, police arrested three people within 24 hours. They were Mukesh Balu Javer (32), Ravindra Ratan Kamble (35) and Ratan Mohan Kamble (33). They used an iron rod to murder gym trainer Sandip Bhausaheb Patil (43).

Finally, the sixth accused, Vitthal, the key conspirator of the crime, was arrested. “The three were hired to murder the gym trainer. Police have found that the murder was plotted six months ago. The planners were keenly observing movements of the gym trainer and zeroed in on him when was travelling alone on Jambhali road.
