Pilibhit : A 16-year-old Class 10 student was found hanging inside her home at a village in UP’s Kheri district after she was allegedly abducted by two brothers, in their 20s, on Sept 10 night.
Police said Monday that the reason behind her suicide was unclear and they’re investigating whether the student was assaulted.

SHO (Kotwali Sadar), Rajesh Kumar Singh, said, “An FIR has been registered against the accused, Adarsh Kumar and Uttam Kumar , under BNS sections 108 (abetment to suicide), 351 (3) (criminal intimidation) and 137 (2) (kidnapping from lawful guardianship) following a complaint by the girl’s father late on Sunday. Both have been held for questioning.”
