Chaurasia said all preparations for the proposed event were completed at the meeting venue. BJP ensured creation of separate blocks for smooth seating and crowd management at Jagatpur, said Chaurasia, adding that a special section has been earmarked for bike yatra participants arriving from Vadnagar. The party’s district, city and mandal-level units were mobilising people for their large-scale participation. UP ministers, public representatives, office-bearers and workers were also carrying out mass contact campaigns in villages around the public meeting venue to ensure wide participation. Hundreds of hoardings with welcome messages for Nabin are being installed across the area. These displays also highlight govt schemes and achievements. Separate sectors are being created for women, the intelligentsia, media representatives and persons with disabilities.
Essential facilities, including potable water, will be provided in all blocks before the Wednesday public meeting. These senior members of BJP will welcome the group of yatra participants on reaching Varanasi after beginning the Seva Sankalp Bike Yatra from Vadnagar (Gujarat), he said, adding that the public meeting will be organised at Jagatpur Inter College in Rohaniya on Wednesday afternoon.
