Lucknow: Following a violent incident where a 22-year-old woman was dragged on the bonnet of a car and thrown onto the road during a confrontation with her estranged boyfriend, two old videos of the couple have surfaced. These videos provide additional context regarding their relationship. The incident occurred near Janeshwar Mishra Park and has raised significant concerns about domestic violence and personal safety. He along with Danish , who is absconding, has been booked under Sections 109 (attempt to murder) and 352 (intentional insult) of the BNS. A Lucknow court on Thursday sent Shahnawaz into 14-day judicial custody.
Shahnawaz has denied the allegations and told police that he was being framed. Police are examining the two videos as part of the investigation into Wednesday’s incident. He claimed Anamika had been troubling and following him for six months and had also taken money from him.
Police arrested Shahnawaz on Wednesday and seized his car.
