Riot Games has revealed Hush, Valorant’s next Duelist, during the Champions 2026 Grand Final in Shanghai. Described as a telekinetic agent from Guangdong, China, she’s the ninth Duelist in the game and brings a toolkit built around mobility, crowd control, and reality-bending tricks. The reveal has excited the entire community, and it will be interesting to see how she fares in the tactical shooter. Here’s what we know about her release date, abilities, and likely playstyle.

Hush joins the roster with Season 26, Act VI, after the VCT 2026 season wraps up. Essentially, she is set to release on October 27 in the Americas and October 28 in other regions, with players unlocking her by earning XP during a recruitment event. She’s officially called Agent 31, but she’ll be the 30th available agent, since Agent 8 still hasn’t been introduced.

One outlet says it also lets her defuse the Spike from a distance. She’s also the third agent from China, following Sage and Iso. Based on the trailer and coverage of the official kit, here’s how her abilities work: Telekinesis (Passive): Hush can pick up weapons and the Spike, flip switches, and interact with objects from an increased range. Flow (C): She places a marker and dashes to it after a short delay. Using it mid-jump makes her hover briefly in the air before teleporting. Flash (Q): A projectile with controllable detonation that blinds enemies. Outlets disagree on the official name, so I’ve left it generic.

The cinematic trailer, titled “Rise and Fall,” shows Hush taking down gangsters in a restaurant, using her powers to steal a Ghost and move objects around. It plays over the original track “It’s You” by Karencici. Displacement (E): Pulls opponents toward the center of the blast. If an enemy slams into a surface or another player, they’re concussed. Suspension (X, Ultimate): Lifts anyone caught in its radius into the air, leaving them exposed. Hush looks like a space-taking Duelist with setup-heavy movement, similar in spirit to Yoru’s Gatecrash. Flow gives her a repositioning tool, while Displacement can drag enemies out of position and combine with Suspension for fast, coordinated kills. The controllable flash is another standout, since it lets her pick when it pops instead of relying on a fixed timer. Her passive could also change small interactions, such as stealing a dropped weapon or the Spike without exposing herself. After the official reveal, these claims turned out to be only partially accurate, and the final kit is more straightforward. Hush brings telekinesis, mobile setups, and a lift-based ultimate to Valorant’s Duelist pool. Check Riot’s official channels for exact specifics and ability costs before you plan your agent unlocks.
