Dell introduces Pro Precision workstation lineup in India, prices: The wider industry impact

Dell has introduced its latest Pro Precision workstation portfolio in India, designed for professionals such as engineers, designers, and creators who require substantial computing power for tasks like artificial intelligence (AI) workloads, simulations, and rendering. The new lineup includes five distinct product lines, featuring options from ultra-thin mobile workstations to high-performance desktop towers. Pricing begins at Rs 89,000 for the entry-level Pro Precision 7 T1 model.

The headline device here is the Pro Precision 5 series 14S, which Dell calls its thinnest and lightest workstation ever. At 1. 4kg, it packs a three-sided aluminium build and comes in 14-inch and 16-inch options, powered by either Intel Core Ultra Series 3 chips with integrated Arc Pro graphics or AMD Ryzen AI 400 processors with Radeon PRO graphics. It supports up to 64GB of 8533 MT/s LPCAMM2 memory and arrives August 10. The GB10 variant targets individual agent prototyping and is priced from Rs 4,99,000, available now. The more powerful GB300 variant, built for frontier-level AI model inference, is expected to launch later in 2026.

Also part of the launch is Dell Pro Max, offered in two AI-accelerator configurations.

Across the board, the workstations feature Wi-Fi 7, optional 5G, Thunderbolt 4 ports and TPM 2.0 security with FIPS 140-3 certification. Dell has also worked in recycled materials and packaging, with select models carrying EPEAT Gold and ENERGY STAR certifications.
