Titan has announced the launch of Vetra, its first branded in-house: The wider industry impact

Introduced on September 18, 2026, Vetra forms the foundation of the new Titan Automatics collection, powered by the 7A series movement architecture. Titan has announced the launch of Vetra, its first branded in-house mechanical movement, marking a significant milestone in Indian watchmaking. The initiative places Titan among a select group of global watchmakers with indigenous mechanical capabilities, strengthening India’s position in modern horology.

Rahul Shukla, Vice-President and Chief Sales & Marketing Officer of Titan’s Watches Division, said: “Vetra realised through our latest Automatics range is a statement of what Indian watchmaking can create when engineering ambition meets the confidence to build from within. * Midnite: Uses Calibre 7A77 with a dual disc big date display, housed in a 42mm case with a vertical pattern dial. He added that the launch contributes to building a stronger indigenous horological ecosystem in India.

The Titan Automatics collection, priced between Rs 47,995 and Rs 54,995, will be available at select Titan World and Helios stores, as well as online at Titan.co.in. * Atrium: Built on Calibre 7A200-C, featuring an offset seconds sub-dial, knurled bezel, and Roman numerals, available in concealed and open-heart variants.
