What police alleged

Pal Singh was arrested by the Selma Police Department on September 8 and faces four felony counts of sexual assault. The allegations involve four separate victims and incidents that allegedly occurred between June 2023 and July 2025, according to court records obtained by ABC30.

A 73-year-old California man who had built a reputation as a “healer” in the local Sikh community has been accused of sexually assaulting four clients during treatment sessions at his Selma home, according to police and court records. Police said Singh was operating what authorities described as an unlicensed chiropractic practice from his home, where he provided treatment services to clients. Investigators began after receiving complaints from clients about inappropriate touching at his residence, according to Selma police. “We had multiple complaints from clients about inappropriate touching that was going on at the location, and we were finally able to make an arrest in that case,” Selma Police Commander Tim Cannon told ABC30.

Police have not publicly detailed what medical or healing problem each person had sought treatment for.

In court filings seeking his release, his attorney said Singh wanted to continue working, support his family and assist with his defence.
