Dr Bagul said, “The e-Sushrut system has made patient health records available in a digital format, rendering the treatment process much easier. The facility has successfully integrated the comprehensive e-Sushrut digital management portal across its operations that has six modules right from the registration of the patient till the treatment provided. “This end-to-end digital system digitizes every single stage of patient interaction, including initial patient registration, electronic case paper generation, medical consultations, diagnostic laboratory reports, and pharmacy medicine distributions. Upon arrival at the health center, visiting patients are issued a unique token number synced directly with their Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) ID. Doctors access testing records and issue prescriptions directly on the e-Sushrut portal. This automated workflow eliminates the necessity of carrying physical paper documents, significantly saving time for attending doctors and accelerating treatment times for visiting patients. Moreover, patients can view their health records and diagnostic reports on their smartphones using their personal ABHA accounts.
