LeBron James , the NBA legend, is gearing up for seemingly his last season on the court with the Philadelphia 76ers. he has remained distant from all of it as he continues to give back to his community in Akron, Ohio While LeBron James’ exit from the Los Angeles Lakers’ has sparked debates.

A few years ago, in an emotional interview with ESPN, LeBron James opened up about his mindset behind launching the LeBron James Family Foundation as he said, “I have a voice. Proof that compassionate, family-centered healthcare is changing lives every day. 💚” While LeBron James and his family lead a busy life, the NBA legend continues to be closely associated with his community in Ohio. I have a platform, and I have so many kids and — not only kids but also adults that look for guidance and look for someone to lead them at a time when they feel like their voice isn’t powerful. The former Los Angeles Lakers’ star player added, “And when you see something that’s unjust and you see something that’s wrong and you see something that’s trying to divide us as a race or as a country, then I feel like my voice can be heard and speak volumes. Both LeBron James and his wife, Savannah James remain committed to their hometown even as the NBA icon gears up for the new season.
