In the section below, we provide you with everything we know about the Fortnite v42.10 update. Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 v42.10 update will release at 4 AM ET on September 3, 2026. The servers of the game will taken down for maintenance for approximately two hours, and you will be able to play the game from 6 AM ET. Epic Games is adding 2 new Match Overrides as part of the Fortnite v42.10 update. Fortnite OG Season X will also kick off on September 3, 2026, bringing new POIs including Tilted Town, Starry Suburbs, and The Meteor.
This is going to be a pretty packed update, and will end up introducing brand-new Sprites, Match Overrides, a fresh Fortnite OG season and more. Speaking of the Prop Hunt Match Override, it will likely allow you to turn into props. The Pandora Rift Zone from Borderlands will also likely become a part of the game’s island.
