Gujarat has 43 vacant MDS seats after the first round of online: The wider industry impact

Ahmedabad: Gujarat has 43 vacant MDS seats after the first round of online allotment for the 2026-27 academic year, according to Admission Committee for Professional Postgraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC). The committee allotted 260 MDS seats in Round 1. Of these, 163 seats were allotted under the govt quota, 53 under the management quota and one under the NRI quota. The remaining 43 seats comprise 38 govt quota seats, three management quota seats and two NRI quota seats. Candidates allotted seats can pay their tuition fees online or at designated Axis Bank branches from Sep 5 to 10.

Candidate reporting will be held from Sep 7-10. Reporting at designated help centres will remain open from Sep 7 to 11.
