The cops are reaching out to young people and urging them not to participate in any activity that could lead to a law-and-order situation. Police teams have contacted market welfare associations, resident welfare associations and Aman committees in various areas. They have been asked to cooperate with the police and counsel people against getting involved in any activity that could disturb public order.
