Agra: A 32-year-old railway junior engineer (JE) died after being run over by Jhelum Express while working on Agra-Jhansi railway line near Jajau railway station in Agra on Tuesday evening.
Manoj Saini, a native of Chandausi in Sambhal district, was working on one of the tracks around 5:30 pm when he stepped off a track-maintenance machine after completing the work. Despite severe blood loss and blurred vision, Saini remained conscious and managed to call fellow junior engineer Mukesh Kumar for help, officials said. “When I reached the spot, he was conscious but badly injured and bleeding heavily,” Mukesh said. Patient Dies After Critical Condition Treatment in Agra
Saini was initially treated at the community health centre in Saiyan before being transferred to SN Medical College in Agra due to his critical condition. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries during the course of treatment.
