SP subsequently suspended him following the allegations. Agra : Police registered an FIR against a Samajwadi Party functionary in Mathura on Wednesday after a bank official accused him of sending her lewd messages, threatening her and stalking her.
Allegations Against SP Minority Wing Secretary
Rajan Rizvi, the state secretary of the Samajwadi Party’s (SP) minority wing, is facing serious allegations from a woman who claims he harassed her. According to her complaint, Rizvi acquired her private mobile number without her consent and sent her inappropriate messages. After she blocked him and warned him to stop contacting her, he reportedly began to follow her and monitor her family’s movements.
Mathura ASP Aashna Chaudhary said, “Based on the bank official’s complaint, a case was registered against the accused under relevant sections of the IT Act at Kotwali police station. Further action will be taken as the investigation progresses.”
